Thanks Chicken Lomita: Reviews & Ratings
Okay so I really don’t write reviews often… But… This is my new favorite spot! If you are looking for authentic Korean street cuisine, this is the place to go! The staff is very friendly, every time I order I am surprised by how quickly my order is done, the atmosphere is great and they play K-Pop music with the music videos on TVs. I have been here a few times already since they barely opened up and each time I try something new. Everything has been awesome. The portions are HUGE! The quality is amazing and it’s a very fair price. Their lunch specials are unmatched as well. They have treated me with so much respect every time I have come here that i couldn’t even wait to eat my food without writing a review first. Pictured is the “Thanks Beef Bowl” although calling it a “bowl” is an understatement. It comes in a ginormous to-go box! You can tell they use quality ingredients and put love/care into making your food. This authentic bulgogi is better than a lot of fancy restaurants I have tried in K-Town. Try for yourself!
The best Korean Fried Chicken in town. Absolutely delicious! Every flavor was perfect. I would highly recommend this joint to satisfy that craving for Korean Fried Chicken. Will be coming back for sure.
The Teokkbokki rice cakes stew has the options of added: ramen, glass noodles, seaweed rolls, beef. And comes with egg and dumplings. The pasta are divine for "street food." I would try these out with tasty bone in chicken or boneless tenders!
This place has excellent fried chicken. It's not super greasy like some places, it's nice and juicy and crunchy on the outside. Definitely try the different sauces they have, the sweet and sour dipping sauce is good enough to drink. Service is awesome as well.
Must visit this place. I had half and half fried and marinated chicken with Tteokbokki, pasta and fried dumplings etc. I was not able to find a good korean fried chicken place for a long time and this place is the best. Also try the pasta and spicy rice cake as my teenage girls loved them. Must visit again soon to try the other menus as well such as the Army soup as that is also one of my favorite korean dishes. The owner is really nice as well!
My new favorite Korean chicken spot!! I was initially delighted that I could order a half & half chicken with Yang Neum and Soy Garlic flavors, unlike some other places (eh hem, bbq chicken). Others require you to order one plain fried and only one flavor without exception, and that frustrated me all the time. Anyways, yang neum was good, but Soy Garlic was damn good! Smothered in garlic soy sauce, yet it kept its crispy outside~ yum yum!
Can fried chicken be to juicy? Not if it's this crispy. I've had Korean fried chicken all over the place this might be the best I've ever had. Better than any I've had in koreatown Los Angeles maybe even better than the one I had Tokyo's koreatown. Super juicy and crispy. I got the sauce on the side so I could choose the amount of heat. No problem though it's not too spicy. The iced Korean coffee was on point also. Not too sweet.
